絶大な人気を誇った過去作品、炎くんのデコレーションマスター、通称:デコマス。
この炎くんは、ファーストロットとセカンドロットで塗装方法が全く異なる珍しいモデルです。
腕とバックパックに入れられたファイヤーパターンのカッティング塗装技術も当時はまだ確率されておらず試行錯誤の上、大変な時間を要して制作されたモデルです。
このデコマスの一つは、何故か右肩に『炎』のロゴが入っておりません。原因は定かではありませんが左肩の文字の位置が下に落ちているため途中で制作中止したのでは?と推測しています。
いわゆるエラー品のような個体ですが、なかなか珍しいことと、炎くん自体は今後販売予定はありませんので、そういう意味でもコレクターの方には意味のある作品だと思います。
本物のマスターピースを証明する、日本の職人によるレーザー刻印されたステンレスのネームタグが付属します。
The wildly popular past release, HONOO-kun Decoration Master, commonly known as Deco-Mas.
This HONOO-kun model is rare in that the painting methods for the first and second production runs were completely different.
The cutting-edge painting technique used for the fire patterns on the arms and backpack hadn't been perfected at the time. It was a model created through trial and error, requiring an enormous amount of time.
One of these Deco-Mas units inexplicably lacks the ‘炎’ (Flame) logo on the right shoulder. The exact reason is unclear, but we speculate production might have been halted midway because the lettering on the left shoulder had shifted downward.
While it's essentially an error variant, its rarity and the fact that the HONOO-kun itself won't be sold again make it a meaningful piece for collectors.
A stainless steel name tag, laser engraved by Japanese craftsmen, is included to certify the authenticity of this masterpiece.
