上部から見ると楕円形、形容する言葉が見つからない不思議な鉢です。
袋状とでも言う形状ですが誰もが知るマダガスカル模様が上部に描かれています。
ユニークなのが、高台裏の2つの三角穴、その周りには模様と同じアイボリーの釉薬で有機的な図柄が描かれています。
土の風合いからも、かなり古い作品ということが分かります。
本物のマスターピースを証明する、日本の職人によるレーザー刻印されたステンレスのネームタグが付属します。
Among the numerous invisible ink Madagascar series pieces, I doubt there exists another quite like this one.
Viewed from above, it's elliptical—a mysterious bowl for which words fail me.
Its shape might be described as pouch-like, yet the top bears the instantly recognizable Madagascar pattern.
Unique features include two triangular holes beneath the foot, surrounded by organic designs rendered in the same ivory glaze as the pattern.
The earthen texture also indicates this is a considerably old piece.
A stainless steel name tag, laser engraved by Japanese craftsmen, is included to certify the authenticity of this masterpiece.
