園芸業界を大きく変えた伝説のブランド、invisible inkとTOKYによるコラボレーションモデルの植木鉢。
元々「Rock」というシリーズ名で展開されていたモデル郡の中で2つだけ存在した歴史的に価値のあるICEというモデルです。
このモデルは、実は一個しか納品されておらず、同じ釉薬を使用したXXLサイズのベーシックタイプの鉢はPot + Plantsとして販売したものがありますが、Rock独自のカッティングの入ったものはこれしか納品されていません。
ICEとはinvisible inkが名付けた釉薬と製法で、類似のBrue rust、Red rustとも異なる、名前の通り氷の様な釉薬です。
このRock Grunge Classic Potは、シリーズを通して入れられるナイフによるカッティングが深く刻まれた後期の作品となっています。
私どももこの個体を手放すと一つも所有していないことになりますが、使うことも無さそうですので出品とすることとしました。
本物のマスターピースを証明する、日本の職人によるレーザー刻印されたステンレスのネームタグが付属します。
This is a collaborative model pot created by the legendary brand invisible ink, which revolutionized the horticulture industry, and TOKY.
Among the models originally released under the "Rock" series name, this is one of only two historically significant pieces.
In fact, only one of this particular model was ever delivered. While a basic XXL-sized pot using the same glaze was sold under the Pot + Plants line, this is the only one that was produced featuring the unique cuttings distinctive to the Rock series.
The glaze, named "ICE" by invisible ink, is a special formulation that differs from similar Blue Rust and Red Rust glazes. As its name suggests, it has an icy, translucent quality.
This Rock Grunge Classic Pot is a later-period piece in the series, with deeper and more pronounced knife cuts than earlier works.
Once we release this piece, we will no longer have any remaining in our collection — but as it seems unlikely we will have an opportunity to use it, we have decided to list it for sale.
It comes with a stainless steel name tag, laser-engraved by a Japanese craftsman, as proof of it being an authentic masterpiece.
