ともだち初号機を制作するアルチザンデザインスタジオよりサルベージした塗装見本。
ペイントしたI氏によると「初号機を柔らかくして塗装するとどうなるか?」のテストを行ったものです。
樹脂自体は通常の製品に比べるとかなり軟性で重量も軽めになっています。
かなり独創的な塗装ですが、この様な色味にしたことには特に理由が無いそうです。
ユニークなのは右頭部の油性マジックで『150g』と書かれておりますがどういう意図でそれが書かれたかは覚えていないそうです。
ところどころ剥げもありますが、こういう自由に塗装されたモデルは存在していないので、コレクターの方には魅力的に見えるモデルだと思います。
本物のマスターピースを証明する、日本の職人によるレーザー刻印されたステンレスのネームタグが付属します。
Tomodachi Unit-01 is the name of a sofubi figure produced by our company.
This is a salvaged paint sample from Artisan Design Studio, the team responsible for producing TOMODACHI First machine.
According to painter Mr. I, this piece was created as a test to see what would happen if the TOMODACHI First machine figure were softened and then painted.
The resin used is considerably softer and lighter in weight compared to our standard products.
The painting style is quite unique, but it seems there wasn’t any particular reason behind choosing these colors — it was simply done freely.
One especially unusual detail is that the right side of the head has “150g” written on it with an oil-based marker. However, even the artist doesn’t remember why it was written there.
While there are some scratches and peeling in places, a model like this — painted so freely — doesn’t exist anywhere else, making it an appealing piece for collectors.
It comes with a stainless steel name tag, laser-engraved by a Japanese craftsman, as proof of it being an authentic masterpiece.
